President's AmbassadorsPurpose
Long Beach City College’s President’s Ambassadors are a group of honorary students that serve as the official representatives of Eloy Ortiz Oakley, superintendent-president of LBCC. Ambassadors place Long Beach City College as one of the best community colleges in the country by providing friendliness and support with pride, excellence and enthusiasm.

Goals
President’s Ambassadors actively promote LBCC programs, attend community events, and interact with students, potential students, visitors, staff and community leaders. President’s Ambassadors set a positive image about LBCC by presenting the benefits of transferring from a community college to a university. The Ambassadors are part of the Office of Community Relations & Marketing.
