On Friday, April 19, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, we are fortunate to have Ted Nye, an engineer who worked on the James Webb Space Telescope, come to LBCC and give a lecture on the telescope that will replace Hubble. This lecture will take place in the planetarium and should be a very interesting talk.

Retirement Celebrations Planned for May 31

Retirement celebrations have been planned for our long-time Colleagues Dorothy Guiterrez and Irene Polly.

In the exhibit "Gravity" a group of eight artists are presented, and each will offer works or constellations, while considering strategies from the wall to the floor, or the space between the two. Here the lightness moves from substance to idea, medium to medium, and mass in the same way. Stop by before May 4!

Do you know of students who would make excellent representatives as President's Ambassadors? Please encourage them to apply before April 30. Details and applications can be found here: http://www.lbcc.edu/CommunityRelations/ambassadors.cfm
