Student Learning Outcomes to Hold
Mini-Conference on Critical Thinking

 


Dr. Peter Facione has published over a hundred essays, books, articles, case studies and testing tools around the nature and practice of critical
thinking.

Thursday, Evening Sept. 20th from 7:00-10:00PM and
Friday, Sept. 21st from 8:30-12:00 noon
Liberal Arts Campus Foundation Building I

Sessions will include the following topics:
Thursday evening (supper and beverages are included)
7:00PM - Dr. Facione's experience with assessment of critical thinking
8:30PM - The value of institutional assessment and the value of
departmental assessment

Friday morning (breakfast and coffee)
8:30AM -  Teaching for and about Critical Thinking Part 1
10:15AM - Teaching for and about Critical Thinking Part 2
