I decided to donate to the Gateway to Greatness scholarship campaign because I am an alumnus of Long Beach City College and an employee.  My experience at the college as a student and later as an employee has been absolutely awesome.  I would like for new and existing students to be able to further their educational goals at LBCC without the hindrance of financial hardship as the main obstacle.  The financial support that the scholarship program provides to deserving students may make the difference for them to achieve their career goals.
