Stipends Available to all Full-time and Part-time Faculty to Join the LASSi Pilot.

We need English and Spanish speaking faculty!

All Faculty are invited to earn a stipend by becoming an Expert Interpreter for the LASSi Pilot. This is a Title 5 project that is fully funded and endorsed by LBCC. Our goal is to assess the Study Skills of up to 3,500 students by 2011. We especially need to reach and help Latino/Latina students. We want to build the enrollment, retention and transfer rates of these underserved students, as well as all LBCC student populations. English and Spanish speaking faculty are encouraged to apply! We will train you so that you can earn $50 per Interpretation Session. The more students who take the LASSi, the more there will be who need Interpretation Sessions. Please join us!
