2008-2009 Tentative Budget Approved by Board of Trustees
The 2008-2009 Tentative Budget was prepared by Fiscal Services for the Long Beach Community College District was approved by the Board of Trustees on June 24 and will take effect July 1, 2008. A copy can be printed on the LBCC intranet website or via the attached Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2008-2009. Also available on the intranet is the Tentative Budget PowerPoint Presentation presented to the Board of Trustees on 6-24-08 by the Vice President of Administrative Services Ann-Marie Gabel.
Mileage Reimbursement Rate Increase Effective July 1, 2008
Administrative Regulation 3018.3 sets the district mileage reimbursement rate as the same rate allowed by the Internal Revenue Service for the mileage deduction. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced that effective July 1, 2008; the standard mileage reimbursement will increase to 58.5 cents per mile, increased from the 50.5 cents established in January 2008. Based on the IRS announcement, the district mileage reimbursement rate will be changed to 58.5 cents per mile effective July 1.
