Counseling workshops in the PCC Multidisciplinary Student Success Center:
Please let your students know that the PCC Multidisciplinary Student Success Center will be offering a variety of counseling workshops to students starting August 27th. This month’s topics include: “Keys to College Success,” “Money for College,” and “Following Your True Colors to the Career you love.” Please review the flyer for more details and send your students to the PCC Multidisciplinary Student Success Center (L206) to sign up.
Astronomy Open Houses Scheduled Monthly for Fall Semester
Professor Courtney Seligman will be presenting astronomy open houses again this fall, beginning on Friday, September 12. Open houses begin with a planetarium show in D326 at 7:30 pm, followed (weather and his injured leg permitting) by telescope viewing on the roof of the D building, starting around 8:40 pm. Additional open houses are scheduled for October 10, November 14, and December 5. Reservations are recommended for larger groups, but are not required, unless there are overflow crowds.
