Campus Community Forums on Reorganization at PCC September 24
The next Campus Community Forum regarding the proposed reorganization (May 16 Reorganization Memo attached) is scheduled from 12 - 1 p.m. in the PCC Student Center. This forum is being conducted in an effort to provide a venue for Administration to fully explain the proposed realignments and to provide an opportunity for questions and receive input. The Administration, in coordination with the Academic Senate Leadership, will capture input received in order to inform and guide the decision making process.

The nationwide ACT Center® network delivers computer-based testing and training services to individuals, employers, and professional organizations. Individuals now can plan for, and assess, learning and training throughout their lives, while in school or the workplace. This testing center allows Long Beach City College to serve as a comprehensive resource for developing and serving a community's workforce, economy and helps people attain their educational and career goals. Astronomy Open Houses Scheduled Monthly for Fall Semester
Professor Courtney Seligman will be presenting astronomy open houses again this fall.. Open houses begin with a planetarium show in D326 at 7:30 pm, followed (weather permitting) by telescope viewing on the roof of the D building, starting around 8:40 pm. Open houses are scheduled for October 10, November 14, and December 5. Reservations are recommended for larger groups, but are not required, unless there are overflow crowds.
